Summer Blurb: The Rundown

What Is It (Feat. Sean Kingston) - Baby Bash Music Codes

Currently listening to Baby Bash's What Is It, featuring Sean Kingston - courtesy of my brother.

So to start, let me do an overview of the important stuff that happened during the summer - only then can I be able to blog about the useless things that happened (just kidding).

Wait, I think to get out a calendar for this. (rummages for one.)

Pauline (Kulot's conscience): Hey dummy, you're using a laptop.
Kulot (The one who's doing the blogging): Duh. I know, right? (Continues rummaging for a calendar.)
Pauline (Starts to get irritated): Ahem. Your laptop? Calendar? You're using a laptop and you need a calendar? Or do you want me to blurt it all out and make you look dumb?
Kulot (Seriously considers getting a new conscience): ... ... ... ... ... (Continues rummaging for a calendar.)

Found one. On with the show:

March 30 (I think I need to include this in the list, regardless if it's March.) - Last day in Kalai. Was a very sad day. I literally cried. Wouldn't tell you why, though. Only a couple of people know. Teehee. So I hauled my stuff off to San Juan, where I stayed at my cousin's house. Lived with Ate Ann and Kuya Jackson and the kids, either in San Juan or in ParaƱaque. (Wanna say thanks to them, in case they get to read this.)
April 8, 9, 10 - Enrolment period. Basically, a lot of things happened during these days. I'll talk about them in a separate blog.
April 11 - Start of summer classes. I only took up a CWTS class and a PE class, so my load totaled to zero units. But that didn't mean life was a piece of cake, either. On the contrary, my summer semester was the most demanding out of the three semesters I've had in UP. But no complaints - I enjoyed every single moment of it.
April 21 - First day of practicum in Daniw. Special day, indeed - met the zaniest group of girls the CMC side of UP. And got to know the coolest ladies this side of QC, too. Daniw is family. Is home. Is love.
April 21 (again) - TriNoma. Yellow Cab. Timezone. Enough said.
April 26 - Team Building Cavite day trip. My first out-of-school trip ever! Other than that, nothing much. Yeah right.
April 26 (again) - My sister Paulette's birthday. And Glenn's / Te's birthday too.
April 27 - UP Commencement Execises. Wala lang. Graduations do count as important events, don't they?
May 1 - Labor Day. Holiday. No classes. Need I say more?
May 2 - Started renovating the mini library, as our CWTS project for Daniw. Learned that scraping is a great way to measure one's self-fulfillment. (You can read a separate blog on the scraping experience here.)
May 2 (again) - The UP Burger was born. Burger, burger, burger!
May 6 - Started painting the mini library. I'm still wondering whether this day ought to count as important, though. Oh, yeah, my first time at Sarah's. Went with Jourdaine, Monika, and Edma. Somebody forgot to show up.
May 10 - Last day of practicum at Daniw. Had a kiddie party and a Magic Sing marathon. (Miss you girls na. Sniff.)
May 14 - Manolo Quezon showed up at CMC and talked. Had our picture taken with him.
May 14 (again) - Last day of PE. But we were looking forward to the Batangas field trip, though. (Please take note of the hint to disappointment, if ever there was one.)
May 16 - Submission of reflection paper, finally ending my CWTS. Field trip got cancelled. Got stranded at AS with Rollie, Terry, Kuya Rene, and Jed. Went to Jollibee Katipunan. Got the rosary. Wait. Why is this included in the list again?
May 16 (again) - Did something at the dorm. Only a couple of people know. I don't wanna tarnish my reputation, so I'll just keep it a secret. Teehee.
May 17 & 18 - Went on a spur-of-the-moment overnight trip to Batangas with Ponyang and Majo, care of Majo's parents. Bonded with her brother Joe-Mari. Went to a birthday, slept at a beach resort, went again to a fiesta, had a bowling excursion, and then off to bed.
May 19 - GOT WASTED. Alcoholically and emotionally speaking.
May 20 - Packed my bags and went back to Davao.

I know there's a birthday I ought to include in there, just can't remember whose birthday, though... (insert bitterness here.)

That pretty much sums the entire summer up.
